Why?
OurJourney believes that our communities are stronger, safer and more complete when people returning after incarceration don't go back. Therefore, we exist to support people on their reentry journey.
How?
OurJourney's "secret sauce" is the lived experience of our staff and many members of our board. Everything we do, from developing our programs and tools to advocating for common sense ways to remove reentry barriers, is based on an intimate knowledge of what it's like to be incarcerated and return after that incarceration.
